Neighborhood overview

Famed for being the birthplace of Australian surfing culture, Freshwater has retained its distinct laid back beachside holiday feel. On lazy summer days locals are drawn to the beautiful, rugged foreshore of Freshwater Beach, its adjoining park and headlands and a laid-back village.

Getting around

Freshwater is only 5kms from Manly, the gateway to the scenic beauty of the Northern Beaches.

Very easy transport to nearby Manly which can take you into the city in 18minutes. You couldn't find a more perfect commute.

The best way to explore the Northern beaches via public transport is to jump on a bus from the bus stop just across the street.

A quick bus ride to Manly wharf will see you on a Ferry or Fast Ferry within minutes. You will be in at Circular Quay within half an hour and from here you can catch the train to any where in Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, South or North Coast.

If any noise or disturbances are reported by our neighbors, (who have our phone number), there will only be ONE warning phone call from us, and next the police will be called – serious offenders will have their bookings cancelled on the spot & without refund.

It is not something we expect to happen, but we do take the peaceful enjoyment and sleep of our guests and neighbors very seriously.

Please respect our house rules and each other.
